# Running ForexBot2 on Linux

## Install dependencies

```bash
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

## Telegram bot

```bash
# Start (runs in background, logs to file)
nohup .venv/bin/python telegram_bot.py >> bot.log 2>&1 &

# Follow logs
tail -f bot.log

# Check it is running
pgrep -a -f telegram_bot.py

# Stop
pkill -f telegram_bot.py
```

## Live signal (CLI)

```bash
.venv/bin/python main.py              # H1 summary

## Backtest

```bash
.venv/bin/python main.py --backtest

> No GPU required — GPU code is only used by `backtest_gpu.py`.
